Beijing Olympics: Networking Opportunities Galore

The Olympic Games attracts a potent mix of political leaders, international celebrities and the CEOs of the world's biggest corporations.

Coca Cola alone has invited 10,000 guests to the Games - the worlds of politics, sport and high-finance intermingle amid the charged atmosphere of the greatest sporting contest on earth.

And while the Olympics have been a highly commercialised event ever since Los Angeles in 1984, the Beijing Games offers a unique chance for international business leaders to tap into the great prize that is China's emerging domestic market.

Among the host of CEOs reported present in Beijing are News Corporation boss Rupert Murdoch, H Lee Scott Jr, president and CEO of Wal-Mart Stores Inc and Greg Brown, CEO of Motorola as well as a host of executives from McDonalds, Volkswagen and General Electric.
