Raptors Schedule Released for 08-09 Season

The Raptors will open the 2008-09 NBA season on Oct. 29 on the road against the Atlantic Division rival 76ers, who added forward Elton Brand in the off-season.

Toronto's home opener follows two nights later against the Golden State Warriors on Oct. 31.

Jermaine O'Neal, acquired by Toronto in an off-season trade, will make his return to Indiana when the Raptors visit the Pacers on Jan. 16.

Then Victoria's Steve Nash and the Phoenix Suns make their only trip to Canada on Jan. 18.

All 82 Raptors games will be aired nationally in Canada, though no TV schedule has been released.

The Raptors have two nationally televised games in the U.S. They will appear on ESPN on Dec. 5 at the Utah Jazz and on ESPN2 on April 10 against Washington.
