DISH Network has booted the GolTV, the soccer network from its lineup after both sides failed to agree on a new carriage agreement.
Until it was pulled on August 1––the same day its contract with DISH expired––GolTV had been available via the satellite operator’s America’s Top 250 and DISH Latino packages.
“DISH Network has demonstrated total disregard for independent networks, the millions of soccer fans we represent, and minority-owned businesses by this action,” said GolTV COO Rodrigo Lombello, in a statement released by the network. “We urge upset DISH viewers to contact us or DISH to voice their concerns.”
