The Green Bay Packers have reportedly hired Ari Fleischer to help with the ongoing Brett Favre issue, according to Fox Sports.
Former White House press secretary Fleischer will assist the Packers for one month.
The Associated Press states that Fleischer met with the Packers last Thursday, but the meeting was scheduled several weeks ago. While Fleischer didn't focus on how players should handle the Favre situation, the AP reports that it was discussed.
"Obviously it's a topic, and it wasn't ignored," Fleischer told the AP in a phone interview Thursday.
