Sudbury to Host 2010 Ontario Summer Games

Sudbury has been chosen as the host city for the 2010 Ontario Summer Games.

The Ontario Games is the largest multi-sport event in the province, with more than 3,500 athletes competing.

Games director Blair Macintosh says Sudbury will have to upgrade some of its local facilities as well as build a BMX track.

The community of Haliburton was also bidding for the Games.

This year's event is being held in Ottawa and marks its 20th anniversary.
